How can we help you with ourrapid-setting concrete and special concrete help you?

Through our cooperation partners, we can always connect you with reliable specialist companies who have many years of experience in processing Coolkrete products.
No, in principle, even a layperson can do it themselves. However, for larger damages and in the freezer area, professional installers have better tools, skills, and processes.
Nopre-wetting or priming for our rapid-setting concrete and special concrete is not necessary and must not be carried out.
In contrast to cementitious products, milling, bush hammering or blasting of the substrate is not necessary, but is helpful in cleaning the substrate of foreign matter.
Slight moisture (Multikrete) and condensation moisture from breathing air (Fricon) on the installation surface are not a problem for our rapid-setting concrete and special concrete.
No, post-treatment such as covering etc. does not change the setting process.
No, unlike cement-based products, the filling volume is not subject to shrinkage, which means there is no shrinkage or creeping.
The viscosity of our special mortar can be reduced by adding a maximum of 10% liquid component. Please never add water.
No, unlike resin-based rapid-setting mortars, Coolkrete products have even higher fire protection qualities than Portland cement-based products.
No, unlike PMMA-based quick-setting mortar, Fricon and Multikrete are approved for use in food environments (TÜV food approval).
No, unlike cement- or resin-based rapid-setting concrete or special concrete, there is no risk of burns or allergies.
To extend the working time of our special Fricon concrete, the material should be pre-cooled. Ideally, the liquid containers should be removed and stored at temperatures around freezing, while the buckets containing the solid component should be cooled to subzero temperatures.
If there is insufficient pre-cooling time, spread the dry component briefly on the clean frozen floor over an area of approx. 1 sqm in order to achieve rapid pre-cooling of our quick-setting mortar or special mortar Fricon.
If a longer processing period is required, Fricon 26 should be used; if earlier further processing - e.g. by surface grinding - is more important, Fricon 45 should be used.

Experience has shown that if the processing temperatures fall below the specified limits, the complete curing of our special concrete or rapid-setting concrete can take up to 24 hours.

We are not aware of any other negative consequences.

Please position the mixing station as close to the installation site as possible. Immediately after the mortar is visibly mixed, you should apply it, mixing partial quantities if necessary, placing it as a team, and smoothing it.
All Coolkrete products are available as mortar with grain sizes below 2 mm ("Standard") and as concrete with a maximum grain size of 8 mm ("JM").
